Ray Williams Jr Founder and CEO Micro-Bio
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Ray’s competitive personality and desire to succeed led him to join the United States Air Force at the age of 19, a move that would put him in the best position to get free training, earn income, and a way to pay for college. The exposure to the Air Force, enabled Ray to live and travel to various Countries and States during his nine year term.
After separating from the Air Force Ray secured a position in the life insurance industry, and later becoming a mortgage loan officer, working for several major lenders for ten years, in addition to operating a mortgage loan officer training school. During this time Ray received his Associate Degree in Real Estate, while continuing to expand his knowledge of personal finances and studing business management.
As a mortgage loan officer Ray was exposed to the various types of financial tools and products that he learned to use effectively to help people purchase homes and manage their personal finances, with a special emphasis on personal credit and debt management.
With his extensive knowledge and experieneces, Ray decided to share his skills and knowledge with others and empower them through education and coaching. With this desire in mind, Ray bid farewell to his mortgage career to pursue a path that allowed him to use his knowledge and skills to financially empower underserved consumers.
Ray started Greenway Capital Management a personal financial coaching and education company with the idea of providing affordable personal financial services to individuals who generally do not have access to financial professionals that are cost-efficient.
To provide information and education to the masses, Ray wrote financial columns in local newspapers, in addition to hosting and appearing as a guest on local radio stations, as well as conducting free financial workshops in order to educate and inform consumers about financial literacy.
Ray self-published his book, U’s Rules for Financial Success: How to Unlink The Poverty Chain in 2020 as another way to educate and inspire others.
In 2022 Ray incorporated his company as Yenom Emit, Inc, (Money Time) dba Greenway Capital Management in preparation for anticipated growth and expansion, and to continue providing affordable products, services, and income opportunities to individuals who have a “desire” to unlink the poverty chain and change their financial future.
Ray genuinely believes Financial Literacy Is Power.
